you people that have never and will never hunt south Alabama, still have no clue what you’re talking about when it comes to season dates in the southern part of the state.
Everyone opposed to February hunting lives up north. I hunt 2 counties that border Florida. You guys up north should spend one season hunting December and the first half of January in Covington County. You would change your mind. I would give up all of December to hunt all of February. Im not opposed too shorter seasons. It does seem like it lasts forever, but when it's about to get exciting down here it ends.
