I heard the same explanation of time the OP stated. I think there’s something to it. In my mind, I’ll always be 18. But I don’t “bounce” like I once did. My thoughts on passing time are that you need to do something at least a bit fun every day. If it’s nothing but cutting up and being a lunatic. Have some fun. I’m enjoying a jack and Coke and visiting with my favorite online homies. Later, I’m gonna mess with my fishing tackle. I had jambalaya and crawfish pie for lunch.

On the distance I like to walk to my stands: “The first 100 yards is also the last 100 yards.”

Man this thread is depressing.
Reflect on what you’ve accomplished so far. Be happy with what you’ve got! Try drugs or somethin if you aren’t in good shape for physical fun. Quit worrying about it. Go to Hardee’s and bitch about the millennials.

Dude, you get me!
I hate making a good first impression. There’s no way I can keep that shit up.

Very, Very True. I'm 53, and as of lately I don't see time to accomplish all of the things I want to do before I'm "done". Life gets in the way. This reality hit (I am 48). Honestly it is a time in my life I am really struggling with. Feel like I have failed. Its hard when reality slaps you in the face. I have to really work at staying positive lately, don't feel alone.

I read some time ago that as we age our body temp changes and that is a factor in "thinking" how fast time goes by.
"Why do you ask"?
Too many people spend money they don't have , on things they don't need, to impress people they don't know.

Heard once that “The days are long and the years are short”....starting to make more sense now that I’ll be 35 next month with three children.

Another thing too is that when you get older and like me and not in the physical shape you once were and not able to do things that you once took for granted, it just doesn't seem real and is hard to accept. My mind is that of a 30 year old, but my body disagrees. Some of us can definitely relate to Jimmy Buffett... "Growing Older But Not Up" I rounded first never thought of the worst As I studied the shortstop's position Then crack went my leg like the shell of an egg Someone call a decent physician I'm no Pete Rose, I can't pretend While my mind is quite flexible these brittle bones don't bend [Chorus:] I'm growing older but not up My metabolic rate is pleasantly stuck So let the winds of change blow over my head I'd rather die while I'm living than live while I'm dead Sometimes I see me as an old manatee Heading south as the waters grow colder He tries to steer clear of the hum drum so near It cuts prop scars deep in his shoulders That's how it flows right to the end His body's still flexible but that Barnacle brain don't bend [Chorus] So now don't get me wrong This is not a sad song Just events that I have happened to witness And time takes it's toll as we head for the poll And no one dies from physical fitness That's how it goes, right to the end As the days grow more complicated the night life still wins [Chorus] Let the winds of change blow over my head I'd rather die while I'm living than live while I'm dead
Well behaved women never make history.~ Out back Quit laughing...I think I broke something.
Fifteen is my limit on Schnitzen-Gruben, Baby...
I have OCD and ADD, so everything has to be perfect, but only for a minute.

It seemed like to me time started spinning like a top after 40.

If you want to slow it down and make it seem an hour lasts forever, just go climb a tree during a frosty Feb morning without enough cloths to stay warm .
