Blessed to be able to go for an hour or two after work most days. I’d guess easily over 100. Killed 3 bucks and 6 does. Saw a few hundred deer. Had around 65 in one 10 acre field one evening. Freezer is full. Throw in my 8 day Elk hunt in early October and it was easily my best hunting season ever.

27 sits. Only 2 sits during bow season. 3 sits opening weekend of gun season. The rest of my hunts where from January 4th- January 27th. That is definitely the least amount of sits I’ve had in a season. But I think that’s the way to do it. The 2 sits I had in bow season where horrible and miserable. Opening weekend of gun season this year was the worst one I have ever experienced as far as deer sightings go. January sightings where a little better but not like they normally are. I do think next season I will not hunt before January unless there is a cold front coming through. It’s not fun not seeing any deer and sweating

I sat 10 times this year and the good lord blessed me with 2 old bucks and a couple does despite seeing less deer this season than I’ve seen the last 6 years I’ve hunted this property.

30-35. Most I have hunted in 5-6 years. All but 3 were with my son. Great season.
