Who plants white clover and what is your best advice?
How long after spray weeds can you plant?

I have tried and failed to establish a pure white clover plot on several occasions.
It always burned up in the summer and only came back feeble in the Fall.

I dont know how it would work down there, but I always frost seed my white clover and have very good results from it.

Take soil samples, get your ph correct first.
I will till the area, cultipack , it spread the seed then cultipack again.
It’s a good bit of work to maintain, but some of the best turkey and deer food you can grow

A perennial clover plot needs to be on soil with a 6.5ph, so soil test is a must. Get your weed issue under control. Plant with your fall plantings and let it get established and spray with gly in early to mid april before weed and grasses head out. Spray at 1.25 quarts to an acre, I use 2ozs/per gal and it takes about 20 gal/acre of water with my sprayer. At that rate gly will not kill the clover, but will kill almost everything else. Very important to have clover on soils that hold good moisture with some afternoon shade. North/south running plots are best. VERY important to have afternoon shade for it to last thru our hot dry summers.
