Guntersville has partially closed 2 gates as of this morning. Just restricting flow with those 2. No noticeable rise on the north side. Wheeler can’t store much water when it comes to flood conditions so Decatur is gonna catch Hell in the days to come.

Crossed the Whitesburg bridge on 231 twenty minutes ago. River is completely over the bank on the north side, south side has about another foot before its over, the creek is backing up on the north side of Hobbs Island Road.

Crossed the Whitesburg bridge on 231 twenty minutes ago. River is completely over the bank on the north side, south side has about another foot before its over, the creek is backing up on the north side of Hobbs Island Road. This aint nothing yet. Back in 2003 or 2004 it flooded that area much worse. Now they built and elevated homes close by. I expect those to flood if it gets as bad as 2003 flood. Water crossed Green Cove Road back then. Its really common for it to cross Hobbs Island Rd. It does that every few years id say.

There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

Also when it flooded at Clark's landing in Autaugaville and the caskets came out of the ground in that little cemetery by Clark's Landing.

One time I saw it get so high the pterodactyls had to leave their roost and were taking turns lassoing black panthers and kangaroos with a 30 foot timber rattler. Sorry Jake I couldn’t resist.

I hope the developers building houses and businesses down there between Green Cove and Hobbs are doing some serious examination right now about their planning, water retention, Aldridge levels and so forth.
