In a box stand in Coosa with Janet trying to get her on the board. Of course I forgot to bring an extra chair so after hiking back to get one, I’m pretty much dripping in sweat now. There was a real nice heavy horned 7pt here a week or so ago. Maybe he’ll make an appearance.

Dr. B Lol, I’m in a ground blind with my boy, but had to do the exact same thing. It is hot in Pike County this afternoon.

I think the little deer I watched this afternoon had to have been a button buck. He rubbed his head on every low hanging limb he could reach.

Saw 6 does. Was gonna get one for her son to put in freezer. She wont shoot a doe so we had to do a little musical chairs in the shooting house for me to get a shot. It didn’t work out...mainly because when I finally got in position, while raising my rifle, my scope hit my reading glasses and knocked them out of my pocket and they hit the floor of the shooting house and made just enough noise to alarm them. Deer were already staring us down and when they heard that, it was over! It was a beautiful day to be outside despite my screwup! Dr. B
