Very, very rare. It’s not racist to want you daughter to date in her race because of what you’ve experienced with the other races. You're talking culture, not race. I wouldn't want my daughter dating a hip hop , thug but if wouldn't feel any better with her dating a white trash kid from a meth head family. I already said Id prefer she date within her race because it'll be easier on her and her future children but I am more concerned with character than color. If given a choice between a quality, Christ filled , young man who is black and a low life, trash white kid , I'll take the high character black kid every time. Now, I doubt I am ever faced with that dilemma because my daughter hasn't shown interest in anything but white guys but when she gets dating age we will cross that bridge if we come to it. I haven't ever discussed race with her because I've seen the results of daddy's who made a big deal out of it and were overbearing. Many times they got the exact opposite of what they wanted when their daughters decided to rebel and do the thing they knew would sting the most. My daughter figured out the culture thing without me ever having to point it out because we have always focused on character , faith and respect and she knows how she wants to be treated.

What if black Maurice shows up and is respectful, intelligent, clean cut and has his act together and white Billy shows up and is smoking a Winston, wearing a do rag, playing hip hop music and has a criminal record? Which do you choose? See, you guys are taking the worst of the culture and making it the only choice. No one wants that for their daughter but if all it takes to make you happy is that she dates a white guy you might find out skin color doesn't always determine character and your number one hope for your daughter turns into a nightmare. I think for most of us the ideal scenario is our kids find a person of their own race that has high character and a strong family background but if it doesn't work out that way and we have to choose 2 of the 3 , skin color will be the one that's least important, for me.

So my analysis isnt based on a theory of what "might" happen in some made up scenario. It didn't really bother me. Mrs. Goodman on the other hand didnt handle it so well, but I told her exactly what Bill said, the more you push the harder he's gonna cling on. I've seen the bad side of it....half sister pregnant at 16 with her first....thug 20 something year old at the time. 2 more by 2 others by 30.... now she's a fat trailer park lesbo. Although, it's been a great example of what not to do for my kids.
