I don't think wanting your child to marry within your own race is racist, depending on the reasoning.
I think it's racist if you believe skin color determines one's worth as a person.
The black culture, on average, for sure has more social issues than almost any other culture but you can't assign those issues to every black person. Doing so is racist. I have seen racism from both black and white people. It isn't exclusive or even more prevalent in white people than in black people. I stand by my statement of character counting more than anything else when it comes to my daughter choosing a mate. I ask again, knowing most won't dare answer, would you rather your daughter marry a man like Allen West or a man like Joe Biden? That's still a no brainer for me. One has impeccable character and leads his family by faith and example and the other is Joe Biden.
