I wonder why we can’t have the conversation about the state of Black culture without being called racist. 13% of the population (black males between 18 and 35) commit 82% of violent crime. Why 72% of black babies are born illegitimate. Most of their politics are left of socialism. That’s what drives my opinions. I love my black friends and wouldn’t mind having more, just don’t have a lot to pick from.

To me that’s being a hypocrite, I’m just a outspoken type of person, say what comes to mind, which isn’t always the best idea. But! Would I not hang out with a certain group of people or not help a certain person just because of my prejudice thoughts? No, because I realize every individual person is different and when we see a person of a certain color or race doing things we don’t agree with we as humans tend to categorize everyone in that race as being that way. It’s not the case though. So yes. If you have a person who has the same beliefs as you, is a good Christian, votes the same way you do, has all the same hobbies you do, loves and cares for your daughter unconditionally, But you say “hey you are not allowed to date that guy because his skin tone is a touch to dark” that’s racist. And let’s be clear, I wouldn’t want my kids dating a low-life, no job having, drug selling, dead beat either. But I would teach my kids to avoid people like that and not avoid people of a certain color. Because you have a lot of shitty white trash people as well. I hope this clears up what I am trying to say. And I NEVER said you were going to hell And as stated earlier I will continue to pray for you. I thought this was about dating another race not being friends with em??

But me not wanting my kids dating another race doesn’t make me racist, that’s what I feel like some are saying. Most folks don’t really know how racially pure they really are. Have your DNA checked and get your wake up call. I grew up on the back end of the Irish thinking they were a unique race. Turns out most of the oldest “pure” DNA in Ireland comes from what is now Spain.
One thing I would like to add as my exit from this thread is that as far as anyone can PROVE, we get one little spot of time on this planet while we’re alive. After that, it’s speculation and faith. Provable science says we’re all gonna be worm dirt. Live your own life, help folks if you can, give your opinions and guidance to your kids, and phuk anyone that tells you who you should or shouldn’t love, or how you should be happy. Concentrate on your own happiness. My God doesn’t give a shucks what color or gender anyone is because he made them all. My God also founded Judaism AND Christianity. He likes diversity.

I have a large percentage of my ancestry coming from Creole and Indian, on my dads side. My brother is very dark, brown eyes, and has dark (now gray) coarse hair. I would suspect I have a much higher than average percent of African, Indian lineage. Doesn’t impact my views.

For those pointing fingers and calling people on here racist because they prefer to marry within their race, I have a few questions for you:
1. Is every member of the Congressional Black Caucus a racist? Their entire group is based on skin color.
2. Is BET a racist channel? The whole premise of the network is skin color.
3. Are racial hiring and college admissions quotas racist? They are all based on skin color.
4. Are government contracts awarded based on a business owner's skin color racist? They show preference based on skin color.
5. Are those that voted for Barack Obama because he is considered black racist? They voted for him because of his skin color.
I could go on and on but if you answered no to any of these questions, then what moral high ground do you think you hold to call others on here racist?

Yes, to all. I don't think wanting your child to marry within your own race is racist, depending on the reasoning. I think it's racist if you believe skin color determines one's worth as a person. The black culture, on average, for sure has more social issues than almost any other culture but you can't assign those issues to every black person. Doing so is racist. I have seen racism from both black and white people. It isn't exclusive or even more prevalent in white people than in black people. I stand by my statement of character counting more than anything else when it comes to my daughter choosing a mate. I ask again, knowing most won't dare answer, would you rather your daughter marry a man like Allen West or a man like Joe Biden? That's still a no brainer for me. One has impeccable character and leads his family by faith and example and the other is Joe Biden.
