Ok so I get the DA award for the day. Got up around 7 had some coffee with the wife and headed on into work at 8. I walked in and spoke to all the techs as I’m going back to my office. All the sudden their heads pop up over the counter like meerkats and in unison they ask “What are you doing here? You don’t have any patients!” Holy crap!! I got my days off mixed up!! I thought I was off next Monday and Tuesday!! Turns out it was yesterday and today!!  So anyway, wife and I met at Chappys for breakfast and I texted my son seeing if he wanted to go back to Coosa today and he said “heck yeah!” I checked the camera cards and there are 2 deer up here that have me excited. One of them was in the plot at 2am Monday morning that my son hunted yesterday. He decided he wanted to hunt there again! 😂 I’m back on the same plot I was yesterday. Busted 4 does off plot at 1pm trying to sneak in. One saw me and I got busted. It’s early tho so I’m hopeful. Dr. B

Didn't hunt today but went to check cameras at lunchtime and saw a ton of does and a a good 120 inch class 8pt that crossed the road in front of me at 1 o'clock onto our place and stopped just inside the thicker stuff and was tempting me. He was looking for his doe and never knew I was around or didn't care.

I won't be in the stand until this afternoon's hunt, but between what I've seen on cameras, what I've seen sitting here at the camp working on my computer and what I've seen when I went to go run some errands - they are moving pretty good throughout the day right now.

Sitting in my Sportsman’s Condo. Cold day. They’re definitely moving. They were moving last night and I missed a good 8 I’ve never seen on camera.. Hoping to redeem myself today after making sure rifle was still on. rifle was Dead on. Miss was my fault.

Back on the ole wood box, sure feels better in here than it does out there. Got me a fresh bottle of gas, im in for the duration. Wind has eased up a bit, its cold and sunny, im expecting to see some deer before dark. Nothing but about 1000 doves so far.
