Saw one going in and one doe right after I got there. I was short one top and one bottom to handle that wind. Tapped out at 845.

Just got up in a stand over a 4-finger green field in Notasulga. Surrounded by pines and a hardwood creek bottom on one side. Hoping to see some does pull some bucks in closer to dark.

Just got settled into the stand with my son.. jumped a fine buck walking in. He was Sunning on a hillside in some thinned pines..

Set up in some hard woods this morning where 2 hollers intersect surrounded by 3 yo clear cut and didn't see squat
Just set down in the shooting house on a greenfield wind is kinda swirling so I'm not real optimistic but we gone see what happens

So the afternoon looks promising. Saw a dang good 8pt cross hwy 22 just outside Rockford at 1140 am. He was hauling azz. Saw 3 does cross county road at at 1245. Sitting in a ground blind on a plot that hasn't been hunted this year. I got in at 215. It’s 245 and I’m watching 2 does and a yearling. So now I just need big boy to come on!!
