So why does Etowah county suck so bad for hunting? Redneck poachers? Dumbasses shooting every deer they see? Just curious? It's sporatic. Depends on where you are. Just as Jb20 stated above. Some places are very low and some pockets have good numbers and size. The best place I ever hunted was close to Noccallula Falls. Very Good numbers and size. Then I have hunted just down from that in Owls Hollow and hunted all year to barely see a deer.
