Christy Anderson... I am Ray "redneck" Anderson's sister and I'm speaking for him because he doesn't have a Facebook account, and let me say I wish my dad was still here ,Jerry Anderson . I'm very proud of my brother, he has hunted all his life and if anybody earned a deer like this then its him. Now of the ones on here that want to speak of his "reputation"...
This was his sister's response. Folks on Facebook said they had never heard of any Anderson breaking the law. He is innocent unless he is later found to have killed it illegally.

The ones saying they have never heard of Anderson breaking a game and fish law was probably being sarcastic. He’s been doing this stuff for 20+ years. Whether he’s been caught, I wouldn’t know. I’m thinking he was caught on Bellefonte years ago and made a run on an atv, got closelined by something and ab It killed himself...if it’s the same guy. That was 15-20+ years ago though. Sit down and talk to some of the local road hunting legends from the past. They can fill you in on a few stories. They did me. I hope the guy killed it legally, but from what I’ve heard from the past surrounding him and especially what I’ve heard relatedto this kill.... it isn’t sounding like a nice legal kill.

Don't know if its true but I read he lives right across the road from the TVA facility and has property with food plots etc. If he actually does doesn't seem like a big leap to me that he killed it on his own property. He also states that he made a bad shot and couldn't find the deer until the next day. The coyotes had ate most of it which is why he just cut the head off. I hope he made a legal kill and if so I'm happy for him.

I will probably never kill a buck that big, I do not have facebook either. But if i ever get facebook and kill one that big you can bet your sweet a** I wont be taking snap shots of it in my fruit of the looms.
