I’ve killed two with three legs, all were running in front of a pack of dogs. Mine were both gone at the knee.
They are tough. My bro and I were talking about cows last night. Wouldn’t it be cool if there was still wild cattle? I assume they were as tough as deer are now. Once you tame/domesticate something it’s strange how it loses its resilience. Glad you got him!!
I hunt right next to a pasture full of longhorns, which are as close to wild as youll get. It is not cool. They have figured out how to get over and through fences and they have also figured out my foodplots taste better than hay. It is almost impossible to keep them out. Wild cattle would destroy hunting as we know it. Not cool, not cool at all.
