I'm not so sure it's just social media.
The human trafficking thing has become a real problem that doesn't seem to garner much attention. Along the I-20 corridor (and specifically Atlanta) is one of the worst areas for people disappearing.
It's both men and women.... young and old.
It's not only that they disappear but are never seen nor heard from again. This is very true. I try to talk to the girls about this often.
