About the practicing to early. Yes, high schools are not allowed to hold "mandatory" or "full pads practice" until so many weeks before season. The way all high schools get away with this is having "voluntary" practices that are not full pads. so basically you are practicing in everything except knee pads.
They were practicing with all the coaches there and it was filmed.
Then why did they not get in trouble?
I can tell you, my son practices 4 days a week starting the week after school gets out in the summer and then every day starting August 1.
