Sitting in a ground blind with my 11 y/o son..trying to convince myself that the deer still move in the rain.. guess you won’t know if you don’t go.. Funny, my 11 yo son wanted to come and I kept telling him how bad the weather was going to be etc. we both said we can’t kill one if we aren’t there. So, up at 245 for a a little over 2 hr drive and we’re sitting here til dark waiting. Good luck!!

0 movement on cams since the hard rain started last night. No way I am going hunting in this. Great day to go to church and get a bunch done around the house!

Just had a young spike come busting it down the road.. got about 15 yards from us.. son decided not to shoot...I told him to shoot it if he wanted to.. good call on his part..

They've been moving pretty good on my camera since daylight. It appeared a young buck was giving this one doe fits while she was trying to feed. Just got another pic sent. I wish I was able to be out there today.

I went by the house just to check cameras in the rain and walked up on 2 does and a 6pt.that was at 0800 and then at 1000 I had a pretty good one come running by in my cell cam

Trying a shooting house we probably only hunted 4-5 times in two years. Watching a small plot right behind the house and rd going to my bigger plot. Just really hoping a yote steps out very little daylight movement here right now. Went from 3-4 shooters on camera in July to only one in the last two months. Lots of young bucks on camera right now actually more then does. Not sure where my big deer have gone.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

Hunted this morning in Fayette Co. nice steady rain when I pulled up so I pinned out on the closest shooting house. Saw four does all solo between 7:15-9:00 this morning.
NOW is the time for all GOOD men to come to the aid of their country.

Well he got him a doe...not his first deer but his first one this year.. so proud of him.. he weathered the rain with no complaining and it payed off
