Very Old Bartons tastes like Evan Williams with dish soap in it.....to me, no offense Irish. Ive got OGD 114 unopened and 100 proof unopened. I got 80 proof opened. It aint bad...Im with BigGameHunter on Larceny. Its my go to wheater. Its everything Makers Mark wants to be.
I'm not a fan of Very Old Barton, I just threw it out there as an example. However if you can find Old Grandad Bottled in bond, it's pretty good stuff. So is Jim Beam Bottled in Bond.
