I’ve heard of a guy who orders liquor online and has it shipped to his house.......
A case of eagle rare, and some wine that I KNOW of.

take a drive up thru Nashville over into Kentucky just randomly stopping at various liquor stores--its one of my favorite things to do during October/November drives up north to hunt--this year's haul included multiple Weller Special Reserves, one Kentucky Owl Rye, and a Old Forrester Birthday Bourbon. Got lucky last year and picked up a 10 yr old Pappy at retail price of 70 dollars...I consider that as much a part of the hunt as actual hunting!

Yep. My parents live in GA and I frequently have to make a stop while there.

That Weller is smooth. I have a bottle in my truck right now a buddy gave me I planned to open tonight.

AU7MM08 gifted me a bottle of Blanton’s for a Christmas. I’ve had it before but I was far past the state one truly enjoys whiskey. Gonna break it out this evening by the fire.

Was gifted a 12 year old Whistle Pig old world finish this year, along with two versions of Russell's Reserve. Single barrel and 10 year.

I really like good whiskey!

Yep. Finally talked the guy into looking one more time behind the counter and he brought it out. I honestly had no idea how much it was gonna be but I said I’d take it. Having never bought anything that good before I was thinking this price is gonna hurt. When he rang up 70 dollars I had a big sigh of relief. The Kentucky Owl kinda hurt my feelings this year it was 220 but same store and wasn’t gonna turn it down.

Let's see now. You guys are all giddy about a
whiskey that tastes like molasses and vanilla.
A little girly, don't you think?

It's good. It used to be $15 a bottle over at this liquor store over in Georgia near the cabin and I used to buy it all the time. It was my main cabin whiskey. I took it for granted. It pisses me off that everyone has "discovered" it now, because every time I go over there he's sold out.

Next thing you know Very Old Barton's or Old Granddad will be the latest "Thing."

I reckon I'm just outclassed in this department. I've got a bottle of Crown on top of a cabinet and it's been there for a few years now, unopened. Before that I had a handle of Crown in the freezer that took over 10 years to finish. On the other hand, I don't let my Bud Lite get out of date smile

Get the F out of the BATFE. The F is guaranteed by the US Constitution. Those other letters are not.

I can’t believe you would be a defector for a Canadian blended whiskey. Next think you know you will be watching hockey over football. smile
