So for the last 3-4 days, I've been over in Hammond, La. for a work related school. Monday, when I got there, my immediate mission was to find a store with bourbon. Found one and looked, and noticed a bottle of something-something-something-peanut butter-whiskey. Never heard of peanut butter whiskey before, thought it sounded a little odd, and settled on a bottle of Jim Beam rye whiskey. This afternoon, I stopped by another store and noticed a bottle of Screwball peanut butter whiskey. Asked the guy behind the counter about it, and he indicated a woman that worked at the store and said she'd tried it before. She told me she liked it, but asked how I drank whiskey...on the rocks, with water, whatever? I told her neat...always and only neat. She said that's what it was for and bet I'd like it, so I bought a bottle and brought it home. Opened it and took a whiff...smells like whiskey and peanut butter. Took a tiny taste... Oh. My. God. It'll never be my favorite or my GoTo, but this stuff is FINE! If you're ever in the mood for something different now and then, I recommend!

I have heard of that one but never had it.
A guy told me he mixed it with Grapico and it tasted like a PBJ.
I’ve looked for it but I’ve never seen it.

We have a maple rum made by Knox Whiskey Works and one of the finest runs I’ve ever had. I’ll put it over ice, in egg nog, over pancakes, you name it, it’s good.

I heard about that stuff the other day and want to find me a bottle. Today is my first day of a 2-week vacation - maybe the first thing I'll do this morning is go find some!

Jim Beam Rye is good stuff.

You can quote me on this...

You can quote me on this...
"Any whiskey with flavors added was to chitty of a whiskey to sell by itself." See, that's generally my position, as well. I like bourbon, specifically, Kentucky bourbon, and rye...and 99.9% of the time I only drink it neat. I don't mix it, not even water or ice cubes, and I don't care for maple, apple, or any of that stuff, although cinnamon is good in coffee, and I have used maple in cookies, before. But the whiskey behind the pb flavor in this stuff was very smooth and drinkable. Like I said, it'll never be my favorite or my GoTo, but I'd love to get hold of a taste of the whiskey before the pb flavor was added. This stuff was good!

A buddy gave me a glass of the peanut butter whiskey a while back.......I was surprised it was as good as it was. I doubt I'd ever buy it, but it pretty tasty.

Not a fan of flavored whisky. Usually a nasty hangover machine. I don’t drink high dollar stuff so I’ll stick with eagle rare, Buffalo trace, or bulleit. Bulleit is my favorite but I feel obligated to grab eagle rare and buffalo trace when it’s in stock...for a couple dollars more grab a bottle of that bulleit I think it’s bonded. Black label excellent...flavored whisky and moonshine not my thing

I was browsing the abc store yesterday and got a few things to give at Christmas and came across the screwball pb whiskey. This stuff is some count!!
I ended up with. Screwball pb. Buffalo trace. Even willams. Wild turkey straight 101 and American honey. Mark and diggers hazelnut rum.
