Ya'll are really gullible. The dude only has 17 posts over 1+ years, and they are only him selling stuff in the classifieds, and they are high quality firearms, which he sells on multiple boards across the internet.
If he was broke, he wouldnt have bought the newer guns he is trying to sell. Show me different. Folks will say anything to make a sale.
I wonder how many guns it takes to sell a year before your on the radar of the ATF for selling a large amount without an FFL.... You can sell a million a year without an FFL depending on the circumstances. If he owned all these guns, and is not trying to profit off of them, it doesn’t matter how many he sells.

Why he is selling is of no consequence. Where he is selling is of consequence. Pay the 3% or go someplace else like armslist, gunbroker or the mule trader. It’s not mean or unjustified. It just is what it is. I’ve bought from the young man when he was only on armslist and find his story credible. But that is neither here nor there.

I don't know if the guy's story is true or not. But Skinny has to protect this site and if he feels something ain't right about what he is selling, he's gotta do something. I'm betting Skinny and other mods have seen enough of his postings to determine something is fishy.

I haven't looked at all of his threads but has he actually sold anything? It does seem like a lot of work for you, Skinny, if only one person was causing the issue. I understand now it gives you a way of weeding out the bad apples but if he's the only one why not kick him off? I know nothing about him or his story, just a thought. I can't imagine someone making stuff up just to make a sale but I know it happens every day (look at car salesmen...)

Well, one of the stipulations is "over 90% of their posts are in the classifieds"......so going forward, it would theoretically weed out those folks that join the site just to sell a few things.

So we are encouraged not to buy from those in yellow correct? Not necessarily....it just means you may want to be a little extra careful in those dealings and look into WHY they're flagged. May be someone that's totally on the up and up and is just new and their only post(s) so far are in the classifieds. But it may also be someone who has a bad reputation and/or has a history of not paying their 3% on sales. Caveat Emptor

Looks to me like Skinny and the others are looking at people who only register to try to sell something or take advantage of a free forum board instead of being upstanding members who might actually learn a little something, give a little knowledge or just talk some trash. And I`m completely cool with it. Whatever the circumstances behind any sale, if your only post are in the classifieds then somebody should be keeping a eye on them. Especially with guns. Just my 2 cents. To Skinny and all the other people that keep the place running and civil.....YOUR DOING A HELL OF A JOB. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
