LMAO...that was actually IN stock a minute ago when I posted it! There were a couple others I noticed as soon as the search came up that were out of stock, so I hunted one and checked to be sure it was in stock before I used that link.
Ebay is another good source for parts like that, too.

Maybe he ordered it! Or someone else on here also needed one and beat him to it 🤣🤣🤣

Back in the early 70's ('72-ish), my Dad was scuba diving in Greer's Ferry Lake, in Arkansas. He and his dive buddy found a load of equipment in about 80' of water that had been lost when a boat capsized several years earlier. Among the items they brought up was a Nylon 66. Bill cleaned it up and it worked fine. Last time I saw Bill was around 1990 or so, he still had that rifle and said it still shot like it was brand new!

YES. My 66 was stolen in 1991. I haven't ever replaced it but will one day. My favorite gun of all time...probably because that was the rifle I first shot and used practically daily growing up. I was always shooting something.

I would go lay hands on both and see which one felt the best to me. I bought my Dad a 10/22 several years ago before he passed because he loved the old M1 carbines and the look is similar. After he passed away I gave it to my nephew because I just didn't like the way it felt. Almost felt like heresy not to love a 10/22 but I'm just not crazy about them either.

Nope, not me. I quit looking for one years ago when they were never in stock and bought a Ruger. I may just order one now.

10/22. If for no other reason for the aftermarket support.
