Maybe this will tilt Virginia red again. It's a result of Virginia turning blue. The people are getting what they voted for, and what they want. Virginia didn't "turn blue" .The metro areas were paid millions by Bloomberg and the numbers won. Metro areas = higher population density= minimal logistics= immediate access to voting stations plus organized voter turn out and they won. This is the problem here: ![[Linked Image]](https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49229357357_e30ca763f6_c.jpg) The folks in the rest of the state aren't going to obey the laws. They saw the same thing happen in California, New York, Illinois, and starting in Washington and Colorado. They seem to be serious about resistance. I hope so.

If you look at the map. The BIG problem is the counties in the northeast corner of the state. These are the suburbs of Washington D.C. and have seen HUGE growth with the influx of federal jobs. The votes in this section have tilted the state blue.

The basis of law enforcement in a "civil" society is predicated on 99% of the population obeying the law. Huntsville population is about 200K. There are 300 sworn law enforcement officers in HPD. remove detectives, training, desk personnel, vacation, retiring, maybe there would be 225 available on a daily basis for enforcement. Divide that by three shifts. So 75 per shift. That works out to one officer per 2600 people. If 10% of the populations says screw it then that's 260 per officer.
That's why of course all law enforcement agencies have tiers of support. City A can ask for assistance from reserves, county, and city B plus the feds and ultimately call out the National Guard. But when there is no support from the counties and the National Guard just might not show up. All the state can do is discharge them. There isn't anything punitive or UCMJ (only applies when on Federal Active duty) so what's the govenor going to do?

google up Virginia Gun Law and National Review. Looks like the dems are going to lose a lot of seats over this. Plus, they are saying the Gov there suggested using the National Guard to confiscate guns. .... could get ugly fast there. Read that and it's very disturbing. Not even the internet RAMBOS on here can take on the National Guard

Not even the internet RAMBOS on here can take on the National Guard I can tell you a cousin of mine got in BAD trouble over in the National Guard. They were called up to go to Iraq. Evidently, they had to take a physical and pass a PT test before they could go. A LOT didn't want to go. They where intentionally failing the PT test so they wouldn't have to go. He was giving them a passing score and sending them on. BAD, BAD, BAD. But my point is, some of the National Guard troops see it as a check and aren't very gung ho about doing the job.

You mean the Appalachian mountains didn't actually turn blue? More people are liberal. And the red areas don't have many people. Just like America as a whole. People in big cities act irrationally.

1 - No internet Rambo is gonna do a dern thing. Y'all have a seat and listen.
2 - I hope they try to take this all the way and really do go out and try to round up people's guns.
This is how serious voting a Democrat into office can get.
For those that don't like Trump and are going to get on here in 6 months and say they are voting for Nick Saban because they just can't vote for Trump because....... whine, whine, whine.....
Well, Here you go. This is what's gonna happen when Biden gets elected.
This is not a game. These liberals are dead serious about their intentions.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

People in big cities are used to their tax dollars actually paying for things. People in rural areas are used to doing things themselves because they rarely see tax dollars being spent on things they need.

Yeah, from working in gun sales I wouldn't be afraid to take on half of the military people I've ran across. The other half though....I'd be terrified.

I would think there would be a tremendous amount of "conscientious objectors" when it comes to something like gun confiscations.

I just don't see any police or military for that matter going into their home turf for a war against there own people, well at least not most of them. It would honestly be a fight like no other IMO. Unless they called in air support several thousand rednecks that are familiar with the mountains, could absolutely destroy the 7500 troops the Virginia national guard has( if they will fight there own people). If it gets to that point, one shot will start it all, and there will be a bunch of people from out of state go in.
This will set the precedent of the next liberal POTUS and Congress we have. If Virginia loses this battle, you can pretty well count on it nationwide the next go 'round.
