I leave at 630 in the morning and back at the office at 730. In the afternoon I leave at 2 and get back by 4. About 3 hours out of my day. Some of them kid's can push your buttons for sure. I have wanted to snatch one up and tear them tails up before but managed to wait. The school does a pretty good job of handling them and putting them off the bus. I had one this year sent to alternative school for a month.

Off topic a little but you guys that get health insurance from your employer, you should always consider that as part of your income. For instance a silver bcbs plan costs me around $1875 per month. So if you look on the bright side if you employer pays half, you are making about $215 per week or $5 more per hour than it appears on the surface. My employer pays mine and all my coworkers family coverage on the silver plan. We all jokingly call it the scrap iron plan. Because in real world us that’s the value of it. A coworkers wife went into labor recently during the night. The hospital actually hit him up for it at like 11 pm. He told them he couldn’t get it until the following morning. They asked what time his bank opened. What kills me with this is all the slowly trickling bills that come in after the fact. I just got one recently from where my son had a procedure done over 6 months ago. Give me back my old free market BCBS and then I would place that type of value on it.

That's why I'm up to drive a school bus every day. The pay is not great but the insurance makes up for it 10 fold. Just curious. How many hours per day does a bus driver work? About 3 to 4 hours per day.

I’ve had CIGNA and BCBS silver plan. I’ll take Cigna any day of the week. The silver plan is expensive and it sucks,
