Just found out that the private school our grandchildren attend does random drug testing. If you fail you are tested not so randomly. Three fails and you are kicked out. Not saying this is a bad thing, just kind of wondering if this is standard for most private schools.

When I went, it was a random 20 students every Monday. If you failed once, you got kicked out.

3 seems like alot id kick them out after 2. even 1 for certain drugs dont need that crap around everybody else's kids

Public schools do it also. No big deal unless you suspect something. I never got tested in public school. I think it’s related to extracurricular activities these days. Otherwise it’s not constitutional. Adults would never put up with that BS, and rightfully so.

Looked at me like I had slapped his mama and said bad things about him online when I didn't get the gig I was sure to tell his boss about that episode and guess who got sent to get screened?

If someone did that to me in an interview I'd tell them to pack sand and they are no longer a candidate. The interview and drug screen we do in the hiring process is for the potential candidate - not me.
