My gosh that stuff is expensive? You kidding me? Its the deep south after all, how dam cold can you get? Running the numbers and some of you guys are running around hunting wearing over $700 worth of clothes? Yes. They keep me warm, that makes me happy and IMO it's worth it.

I bought the fanatic lite jacket and bibs last year. Super comfortable and quiet but not as warm of a jacket as I need late season so I got the fanatic jacket this year and it's awesome! If you're looking for a warm quiet wind proof jacket for late season tree stand hunting, that's you're huckleberry.

I have the fanatic jacket and bibs. For late season in Alabama in a tree stand I think it is perfect. Just change layers underneath and it is good for any temps you will see. If you are in a shooting house with a buddy heater anytime the temp is below 30 dont waste your money.
If you're gonna be stupid you better be tough.

I have been using base and outer layers from Sitka and firstlite for years. They both make quality products. I have also always purchased the items on sale or through sites like camofire.

Go to Camofire.com
They have Sitka gear listed daily on sale. Some stuff is a good deal there. Other stuff is just a little cheaper.
They have a daily listing of outdoor gear for sale. Today they have the Sitka Kelvin Hoody for $195. Regular price is $289.
