I am about to make a purchase and was wondering if you had some feedback on which model to go with. Black flash or the IR?

The IR has a better flash range and clearer picture - and I think it's cheaper. That being said, I have a mix of both and when I'm looking at my pictures, I couldn't tell you which is which.

I bought the black flash because I have to worry about camera theft. The whole reason I bought them was to try to catch thieves, not animals.

I have a Long Range IR and it does fine. Some pictures are great, especially the daytime ones, some of the night pictures get a little blurry but I'm not trying to win photography awards, just see what is there. It has a quick shutter speed which is a requirement for me. I like to set it up on trails sometimes. I got a lot of pictures of butts doing this with other cameras.

I have no experience with the Black Flash.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

X2. I've got both and I can't tell any difference, but that is what the experts say
