The pocket ranger app is so easy. I bought baiting licenses and reported kills already and it took seconds both times.

The app worked really well. The new transport law app for transporting deer across the Florida line was a nightmare.

I'd guess probably after 5 years, depending on whether they believe the first 2-3 years of data is worth using.

IMO there's no way in hell the first two years were accurate, and probably not the third.

Id have to look the numbers up but year 3 wasn't but slightly higher than 1 and 2 as I recall. Now, between years 3 and 4 baiting is legalized. If nothing else changes, to get a fair comparison need to start on year 4 with the baiting. Then go 5 years for the data. So, we are 9 years into GC to get the data for decisions on seasons and limits?? Why not just continue using the same data they used to extend the season in the North zone?

Why would they? No other state with a reporting system ever has ceased it. They've only modified it.

I think the number has always and will always be a semi scientific W.A.G., there are just too many variables.

CWD will hit the state soon, guaranteed. And it's going to throw all this data out the window.

App and website work equally as well for me every time I have used them.

Neither is hard to do.

Not with da's, ignorants, and outlaws. But for law abiden folks, it will serve a purpose.

For future reference, definition of outlaw: a person who has broken the law, especially one who remains at large or is a fugitive.

Doesn't say anything about game laws only. So, you're an outlaw. I'm an outlaw. We're all outlaws. And based on the $$ amount of the fines, you and I both have done things far worse in our lives than not reporting game.

Now, what purpose do you see it serving? New limits? New seasons? I just can't see with them not knowing how many and what kind are killed it ever being used. The old way was a guess but was 1 number. Now, we have the old number, New number, and a percentage between the two.

When it works correctly.

"Why do you ask"?

Too many people spend money they don't have , on things they don't need, to impress people they don't know.
