For example, sitting on your balls. That's a real epiphany the first time it happens.

i bet this old boy's sat on his balls a time or two:

TC. You are a slow learner, Grasshopper! Did we not teach you anything years ago??? Growing old is a art well worth practicing.

Out Back... could be worse. You could only have one nut to sit on. I saw a video of a older guy, who stopped to rest, while on his morning walk. He had a nut hung between the wooden slats of the park bench. OUCH. The EMT’s were laughing so much they couldn’t hold the camcorder steady.

Same way here. I’m 47 and have to have my nearly 15 year old to help me lift things at times. I’m just too broke down now after a broke shoulder that is held together with just scar tissue, broken collar bone, torn paroneal tendon in one foot, etc... I sure wished I had listened when I was younger about taking better care of myself.

I knew I would get a lot of love on this thread and a bunch of guys saying they are much older but dayum I’m hurting now. I went back to bed and just woke up right before 1 o’clock. I’m getting old or maybe I’m a gigantic vagina.

I just spoke with Mr. Grandslam on the phone he is a hell of a guy. He is one of those you are thankful you met in life. He actually went to school with my parents and I met him through a fishing club we were in. He’s got more money than God, he married a younger woman and has everything going his way but y’all don’t worry I straightened him out. He will be ok now.

Sitting on my nuts is not an issue just yet but standing to pee is because that water is too damn cold.

Hah! Keep telling yourself that. One day a 28 year old divorcee will jump your bones and you will realize just how frail you've become.

I turned 40 last May also and you're definitely a gigantic vagina! Lol!

I don't move as fast as I used to but I still get the job done. Had a hip replacement at 19 and both shoulders are tore to hell and gone from numerous wrecks with crazy horses so I know where you're coming from TC!

When I was 25 nobody complained about things that were considered normal behavior. Now what I call normal behavior is apparently a bad thing.

My body went to hell the morning of my 42nd birthday when I took that swan dive out of that ladder stand. That fall aged my body 20 years. Had surgery on both knees this summer for torn meniscus in both and a torn ACL in one. Fell walking into a creek bottom before daylight a couple of weeks ago and I’m pretty sure the right knee is screwed again. Probably going to wind up with two artificial knees within the next 5 years. My right shoulder is still screwed up from that fall I took helping N2TRKYS pack his elk out. Good thing is, I can still draw my bow without pain. Lifting my arm above my head is another story.

TC, Iam 47 and used to stack full size fridgerators 3 high by myself. I would tell people that I like pain. I was just a scrawny man but I didn't act like one. I started typing this thread earlier but was shaking so bad from the pain in my legs that Iam thinking is gout. about 6 months ago I had a kidney stone with pain similiar to what I feel in my legs. now I wouldn't trade places with you, but I have come to fear pain. I have learned that every good day is a blessing and that there is pain out there that can make the toughest men squeel like a puppy. and by watching others I know that sometimes the pain never lets up. what iam am saying is that its better to think about the pain you don't have than the pain you have.
