Why ya'll think that is? I've always thought that during the rut a big buck will go wherever he believes a doe may be (or near that location) to scent check it. I know I've sat on the edge of many greenfields around the rut looking to get a shot on big boy when I know good and well that big bucks never come in to green fields so I wonder if you could hunt the feeders the same way? I've got two running on my property and believe it or not I've got two mature bucks coming to one of those feeders on camera through November 9th. I'm sure that will change as we get closer to the rut in Winston County but it surprised me because I've always felt the same way you all have.
