Baiting, was pretty much going on EVERYWHERE before it was made legal. Pretty much why I got disgusted with it and hung it up.

Don t matter what we do my money on the deer. Corn , plots, cover scents, cameras an treestands. %99 of us still come home empty handed on most hunt. We try steer the advantage to us but the deer wins most of time. Everybody underestimates a deer senses. If any have yall have hunted a mature buck you know what im talking about. You can make one mistake an the mature buck will never be seen agin.I can see young bucks an does all the time but the older buck are just smarter no matter how much corn plots or how high you climb a tree.the deer always has the advantage. The best food source in my area is cutover. No matter what you do deer will always be in the cutover.natural Food at deer height. yall can feed, climb trees, scout with cameras, use all the new fangle hunting products an your season still come down to the couple seconds to shoot an you better be ready . Most of time the deer wins.

hunting over bait I never thought a good idea. I do and have always agreed with feeding deer away from where one would hunt when they have little to eat in the deep winter.

Baiting is still illegal on public land. Alabama is blessed to hove 1000's of acres open to public hunting. Scout, find deer and hunt them like you always have. Will be much cheaper and if you find a corn pile, call the game warden.

I’m hearing corn thefts are up this year.

I remember a short time ago when a self respectable man would never consider hunting over corn. Hunting will never be the same.

Thats just your opinion which some folks will agree with and others won't. You don't have to put it out like other poster said. When it wasn't legal folks were doing it anyway and they were ruining it for the legal folks at that time. You can look at it six ways from Sunday and folks will still be unhappy. rofl

I really don’t care what you or other hunters think. A self respecting man wouldn’t constantly be a troll on this site.

Take up bird watching or stamp collecting.

IMHO , you make a valid point. I don't want the Guvment charging me a damn penny for doing anything on my own property.

Ok, all y’all have changed my mind now. I’m headed to the store to buy an automatic feeder and a pallet of rack attack.

However, I have a feeling killing a deer over it is going to feel as if I aced an exam by looking over my neighbors shoulder.

I am surprised that some of y’all don’t feel the same. Or perhaps, y’all do but are afraid to be attacked like I have been.
