You missed a fine time to try it out this morning. I was 100ft up in a pine tree at 8:25am, it was right chilly. If you like it let us know. Im looking for something better to work in than the old long johns.

If I was hundred feet up a tree I’d need to bring a change of fleece underwear....

Ive worn the mid weight variety at work the last 2 days. Haven't been cold yet. Thought about going back and getting a pair of those for hunting but figured they sold out by now. I'd by them.

I ordered some fleece base layers from 32° the other day. Theyre on the way. They were 9.99. I believe the shipping was free if you spent $30-35 or something like that.

My back was sweating pretty good by the time I got up there, cotton thermal underwear get pretty cold when theyre wet. Thats why im wanting to explore other options. As I get older, being comfortable means alot more to me.

No other material beats a 100% merino wool base layer. I cant stay warm with polyester.

Yessir, I was 100ft up a pine, maybe 110ft. It was about 3in in diameter where I was spiked in, about 8ft of top over my head. It was a tall son of a gun. Had to cut a tiny top out to keep from tearing anything up.

I didnt get any pictures this morning. This is one I was in last week. I goess I was about 60ft up maybe a little less. The one this morning was alot taller and I was a little higher in it. When youre up that high and its 20° outside, the clothes you have on matter. I dont have the proper clothes to be doing this but im fixin to.

Buy with confidence. Normal price is $19.99. I have several pair and will buy more when needed. Highly recommend to anyone looking for some long drawers that are warm, comfortable and don't break the bank.

Fleece as a BASE layer?

Nope.

Get warm one time and sweat a little. Now your in a pool of your own sweat and it's getting cold quick.
