Tua Fumble

Fumbled Punt
21pts off those 3 mistakes right there 1. Don’t recall ever seeing that ever happen. Plus, I think he aggravated his ankle on that play. 2. Most stupid pass play this year. Run the ball or take a knee and go to locker room and regroup. 3. Nerves got to punter and he muffs at the worst possible time. Those 3 plays cost us the game. Even the poor tackling could have been overcome if Bama makes just 2 of those mistakes. Dr. B Those mistakes did NOT cost us the game. 1. Tua fumbled at the 8 yard line. We normally celebrate if we down a punt inside the 10. Our defense let LSU drive the ball 92 yards for the score. That's on the defense, not Tua 2. Bad throw for sure. Bama o-lineman getting a 15-yard penalty is what made it even worse. Again, our defense couldn't stop them 3. Another bad play but again our defense couldn't stop them If it wasn't for Tua we wouldn't have even been in the game period. Our defense sucks beyond belief and that's why we lost. The Saban teams of old had good enough defenses that they could hold the opponent to a field goal or even force them to punt if we gave up a turnover. Not tonight. That defense that was on the field tonight for Bama was the worst I've seen since Saban arrived. No tackling, no intensity, very little pass rush, and it seemed like LSU gained 3-5 extra yards every play by falling forward because our defense wasn't tough enough to wrap up and take them down immediately. My perception of Bama is the same as it's been all year: Tua and those WR's cover up a lot of deficiencies, but our defense and special teams is garbage. And it caught up with us tonight. We're still the best 1-loss team in the country and the season ain't over tonight, don't count us out

Neither team had a defense on the field. Looked like a Big 12 game. Embarrassment to the SEC. Against that type of defense my DAWGS may actually have a chance to win if we can just get past AU and TAM.

Then the Jeudy deep ball drop was 7pts lost No it wasn't. We still scored on that possession.

Sloppy ass football lost that game for bama. This is not the typical Saban team. Bad game plan in the 1st half on both sides of the ball. Terrible discipline and decision making led to turnovers and penalties. 2nd half, not getting points off the INT or fumble or whatever it was on LSUs 1st possession was a huge potential momentum killer. Better game plan in the 2nd half but the defense wasn't able to make stops when it counted. When someone says there was a bad game plan, I like to think the converse. LSU had a good game plan on both sides of the ball. If not a good game plan, it was good enough. That is just my perspective.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

You can't keep putting your defense on the field with its back against the wall against that type of offense and expect them to get stops over and over. If Tua doesn't throw the inexcusable interception and drop the ball, for an unknown reason in the wide open, we are in that game. For some reason, Tua, still makes a boneheaded throw into 5 opposing players at the worse moment. He did it against Tennessee. Saban put trust in Tua and he let the team down with a poor decision. He walked around after the game cheesing it up with the LSU players. He looked way to happy to of lost a ball game. IMO, I wouldn't doubt if he sits out the next game and starts getting his ankle "ready" for the NFl draft. Alabama likely wont get into the playoffs without a miracle. So I don't see Tua risking millions for some meaningless bowl game. All in all we got beat by a team that was better than us last night. It didn't help that Alabama played the worst half of football that they've played in 10 years, but they showed up not ready for the moment and the moment owned them.

What I saw was the best offensive team that LSU has ever had in the history of the program An LSU offense that could only muster 23 points against Auburn at home is the best offensive team that LSU has ever had? Do you seriously believe that? Could it instead be one of the worst defenses that Bama has had in the last two decades?

Auburn will beat the team Alabama walked onto the field in the first half. LSU won but I mean come on man, I know you’ve watched the pathetic excuse for an offense that Auburn has. An elite HS team could hold Auburn to 10 points. Bama can score more than that on D. Sad but true. Auburn has a terribly weak offense. They have one of the best defenses in the country but that is a mute point if you can't put up points. If you hold your opponent to a low score but it's higher than your score, you achieved nothing. I hate it for the D.

Do you seriously believe that? Could it instead be one of the worst defenses that Bama has had in the last two decades? It could be both, but don't discredit Auburn's defense. They may be the best in the Nation this year. I don't recall an LSU offense better than this one. They don't have a weakness on offense. Great passing, Great Running, Good O-line, GREAT QB who appears to be the best leader that I've seen in a LONG time. They have great Balance.They understand their philosophy and play with an urgency that you can't coach into a team. I can't say that they are the best team ever, but they appear to be the best team this year.
