I'd shoot the 4 point in a split second. For you guys in the 8 point and better clubs/leases, how do you handle deer like that?
In our club we would leave it to the discretion of the hunter. I am our club president and ask that they make sure the deer is at least 3.5 years old before culling a deer (we have an 8 point or better and outside the ears minimum). We take a pretty good inventory of our deer prior to the season and I will put out a hit list of all of the deer we think need to be taken out of the gene pool or ones that will never meet the requirements of our club. Some of our members got crazy this year and started shooting one horned cow horns that were 100-115 lbs as culls. I had to re-clarify the club's interpretation of a management buck.
