Tetrahydrofuran is a very strong solvent, it has likely desolved the clear coat depositing the primer pigment (purple) into the paint base layer. I doubt you will be able to remove the purple stain. My thoughts exactly. Luckily the ole bossman ain't pissed at me, just the dumbass that did it. It's gonna hurt the company to have to pay for a new paint job on a brand new car though!
