Sounds like everyone and their brother got selected for that hunt...

There's a few. The guy saying he was gonna go on down and hunt anyway was in a group and I can't find it again.

One other thing that I just thought about is I wonder how many people had got drawn as an alternate in the first round then got drawn and accepted a hunt this round because of the screw up thus knocking themselves out of their alternate spot.

Thanks for sharing. Yeah that truly sucks. I’m kinda nervous they’re gonna screw it up somehow for those already selected before the redraw.

How do they notify the public about the redraw? I saw it on Facebook after the fact but you would think they would send a email or something. What a cluster

I didn’t see the FB post or read this thread. I’ll be at Portland Landing on 10/31. I’ve got an email to prove it 😀

I bought a hunting license and WMA license after it said I was drawn for Crow Creek 11/1.
Dayum. Just dayum.

I think everyone who applied got email they were selected. Everyone I know of did anyway...and several went ahead and bought wma permits. State racked up today on wma permit sales.

The SOAs are paid for with WMA funding and yet these people are only willing to pay the measly $18 if they actually get to hunt pristine property for three days and aren't willing to invest anything more into said property otherwise? Give me a break. I'm sure it costs more than $18 per hunter to manage these hunts.

I'll say it again, a wma permit should be required to enter SOA draws.

I just checked my wifes registration and it's still showing as "Hunter" for the 11/7 portland landing hunt that was supposedly an error. And we haven't gotten the first correction email, they're just doing updates through facebook. Poor choice on the states part IMO. I feel like their gonna have people show up the day of the hunts that don't know they're not supposed to be there.

I was curious if this was the case or not. Not everyone has Facebook, but everyone who entered would definitely have a email

what a chitshow. running damage control on facebook is like putting out fires with high octane non-ethanol fuel.

the lack of this requirement makes me question the ability of the ALDCNR to do anything effectively.
