The most amazing part to me isn’t that Gus isn’t a great coach, but the fact that his monster buyout was agreed to, recently I might add. And when he does finally get fired, they’ll agree to the same, or worse, terms with another coach. Wash and repeat.
The guy who gave Gus that contract needs to be fired. Cant blame Gus for taking what was offered.
My understanding is that he suggested to take less salary for a larger buyout. Any coach who suggests that knows he sucks and is going to get canned.
