ok ... it is your bag to use to feed deer what's in the bag; it's not your corn to plant ... legally anyway ... hence the reason why Monsanto can lower the boom on you ... "licensed" product is just that -- in order to re-use it, you have be licensed to do it ... i'm not a lawyer, altho i play one on TV -- but i imagine some form of what i've just said is where the "gotcha" is ... i could be wrong about this, but being in product licensing/sales/marketing for as long as i've been, i'd imagine some form of this exists, even in the farming/ag world ...

SIMILAR TO: a sweet lil lady over here in Northport was making THE CUTEST Alabama logo'ed cupcakes & cookies & the Alabama athletics department would order TONS from her ... next thing you know, she got a letter about how much she owed the licensing department based on sales of her "illegally logo'ed", unlicensed product ... if she'd just made her cupcakes & cookies in her kitchen (not for sale) & her family/friends ate them, she'd still be in violation & could be pursued -- but no harm, no foul ...

products "owned" by big companies are tricky ... if i was bent on planting corn, i'd just buy the crap "allowed" for planting & be done with it ...
