There isn't any think in any law that says bourbon has to be made in Kentucky.
Having said that, if you can't tell a difference in taste in Tennessee whiskey and Bourbon, the entire issue is lost on you.
You know why everyone drinks Jack and Coke? Because Jack Daniels is so nasty you can't drink it any other way.
