I disagree Central, he needs to be in the woods. He needs to take a little kid hunting as a none hunting observer , shoot a buck , of course little feller will want to help drag the buck. Then when sworn to uphold the law GW comes along and writes the "little hunter" a ticket for "assisting " I bet he changes his tune.
Little feller shouldnt get a ticket but his legal guardian should. I certainly hope you aren't training our youth how to be outlaws.
My son is 9 and EXEMPT from hunting license. The state has already shown precedence but not requiring youth to buy the WMA ADDITIONAL license to hunt a WMA. I will not purchase a bait license for him. This entire STUPID rule will go away once a kid gets a ticket and the parent takes it to court.
