I am ashamed that azzhat is from my home state. Same here. But the big metro areas are turning blue. I like it when he starts every sentence with "If elected". He knows he will never see the inside of the White House.

He knows he will never see the inside of the White House. I would venture to say Austin is one of the most liberal places in the country. I've been to Austin and Portland in the last 6 months and you can barely tell the two apart.

Don't worry about Beto getting elected worry about any Democrat getting elected. They all want your guns Beto is just not lying about his true intentions.
I find it funny that some on this very thread are the same bunch that feel like they don't have to "waste" their vote on a candidate they don't agree with 100% on every issue..a.k.a. "I don't have to vote for either candidate... I'm not going to vote.... crowd". Y'all are/were/will be btchin about voting for Trump but you are saying you'll never turn in your gun.

Is Trump the best 2nd Amendment advocate? Probably not... but you have a choice. Choose wisely. If Hitlary had won where would we be right now in the gun control debate? You really need to think about this.

Won't be long till this place is solid blue as well if it isn't already.

I think the unofficial motto for the city is "Keep Austin Weird". But it's the fastest growing growing city in the country so that ought to tell you something.

It has been over 20 years since I voted "FOR" a Presidential candidate. I have voted in every election, and it was always "AGAINST" the demoncrat that was telling me I didn't need guns, and should pay more taxes.
I don't expect 2020 to be any different.
