What is your favorite head? How is the penetration and blood trail.

Also, has anyone tried the new Meat Seeker (Used by Primos) heads by rocket/trophy ridge?

Slick Tricks, and it's not even close. Flight, penetration and blood trail are all as good as you can get.

100 grain Thunderheads. They have killed about 40 deer for me over the last 11 years. They are dependable, not too pricey, sharp, and fly well.

I tried the G5 Montecs last season and love them too. I like the one piece solid construction and they are easy to resharpen.

100 grain Muzzy for big game.
100 grain Rocket Hammerheads for turkeys.

Simmons 100 grain razor sharks, flys like a feild with excellent penetration.

Ive always used muzzy 100gr, but after goin to Illinois this past Nov. and shooting a good buck and noy finding him, I belive im gonna change up, thinking bout going to rage 3 blade. Although I had good blood on that deer up in Illinois I will have to say it wasnt a perfect shot, but good enough the deer should have died...

If the muzzy didn't kill him changing to a mechanical head sure wouldn't have helped.

Muzzies are one of the heads that all others are compared too. They are good heads.

I was looking into going with a mechanical this year and just bought some Meat Seekers(the name still sounds like a gay bar to me). Mike at Southern Shooters in LaGrange said he has gotten some good reviews by some of his most particular customers.

I shot Rage 2 blades last year and have no complaints so far. Got 4 with em.

But the only head I can absolutey recommend to someone with confidence is the Muzzy 100gr 3 blade. This is what I have my Dad shooting.

Although the reason I switched was for a better blood trail. And I definitley got that with the Rage.

Thunderheads 100gr.
I used to use muzzy and if they flew a little more consistently then I would still be shooting them. I shot thunderheads this past season on 2 bucks and love them, they shoot like my field tips. The g5 fly good, and I have killed some with them but they require some self sharpening IMO.

I've switched to the G5 Montecs myself and I really like them. The one piece construction is what I really like as well. We CMM'd the six I bought and they were near perfect(relatively) in concentricity(all within .0004 to .0009). They eliminated my arrows drifting off, which has been a huge problem with fixed blades ever since I bought my bow.

Muzzy 100 grain 3 blade coming from the switchback works everytime!

Same here only 125 gr.

Grim Reapors Razor Tips. I have used them for 2 years and haven't had a deer run no more than 75yrs. Usually get a pass through and leaves a great blood trail.

Rage 3 blade

Killed 3 with them last year. Shot one buck that was quartering away at 35 yards. The arrow hit him right in front of the ham and exited right in front of the opposite shoulder. It was a complete pass through. The deer ran 30 yards and I watched him drop. These heads leave one hell of a blood trail.

The heads are only a small part of what it takes to kill one. You can kill one with a field point if you make a good shot!!

Muzzt 3 blade 125 grain.

I used Muzzy's for years. My buddy used Spitfire XP Pro's for awhile. I tried the 125 gr XP's last year and it blew through a doe and left a bloodtrail Stevie Wonder could follow. I'm sticking with the XP's. They are are easier and work just as good.

Ive got Rage 2 blade,Spitfire's and shuttle T's

Rage is my first choice.
