That is a bit cheaper than WalMart if you are in that area. I haven’t checked the Co Op prices.

Of course the corn from WalMart though is deer corn and not plain old corn. With all the new baiters I imagine the deer will become picky about the corn they will eat. loco

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Several years ago I was in Walmart and the GW was giving the sporting goods dept hell about the quality of corn they were selling. Said it was molded or something to that effect.

Probably cut open his bag to bait up his spot 20 yards from his ladder stand and found it molded and he was pissed.

I don't think so. This is a BIG farming operation. I think I remember it is in Perry Co. The guy I met was a nice guy and helped me out with what I was looking for.

A farmer that has farms in several counties in central Alabama. They have farmed on our land for a decade or so. They are good folks.

CoOp bags are 50lbs Walmarts are 40 and only about a dollar cheaper I think its still cheaper at the CoOp $240 a ton might be a good deal that works out to $6 a bag no telling what corn will cost with the new law over the years ive seen it fluctuate from $8-$12 a bag depending on the year

I am Luke Smith, the new sponsor. It is my understanding that I am allowed to post concerning our farm. I have been an Aldeer member for many years and and enjoy the group and wisdom here. I rarely post but read the forum almost daily.

We are row cropping a little over 3000 acres and have cattle. I have sold corn at our shop South of Montevallo for years. I have about 40k bushels storage there at the shop and will bag from that source through the end of gun season. I bag in 50lb bags and pallet it.

I can get someone loaded almost anytime. I have a few guys that stay close to the shop. I am rarely there as we have some large farms in Perry county almost an hour away. Text is probably the best way for me to communicate as I am usually running equipment in poor service areas.

I appreciate those of y’all that have bought from us over the years.

Do you sell smaller quantities? Like say 6,8,10 bags at a time? How big are bags and price per bag?

The smiths are good folks.
I bet there are folks on here that would split a pallet with you. 50lb bag, 40 bags per ton.
