Where are the closest public land prairie dogs? Would consider an inexpensive lodge with diy hunts but don’t want to sit next to an outfitter.
Within driving distance? I'd be surprised if their is any. Flying distance, sure. If you're flying I'd just go to the best place.
I'm sure you can have a guide service let you do it yourself. Probably at a cheaper rate too. I've seen other game done that way.
