It doesn't take much bow to kill a deer, although the manufacturers try real hard in advertisements to make you think you need the latest and greatest every year. The key is getting one with the right draw length, right poundage, and one you are confident in. Find someone knowledgeable that can determine the 1st two criteria. It'll save you in the long run.
