And to think this thread started out as a simple brag on a stepson hitting it 200 yards 1 handed, and here we are with a $1,300 bet on the line

Hell no. That should have read “take the bet” and not make.

Even for 3.50 a shitty beer, I will buy a 100 bucks worth of brew (at the course) if we can make it happen. This Friday isn’t the best day for me though.

I watched the professional long drive last night in a bar, don't know if it was live or not, but it was ironic. The top 6 or 8 went one on one for a couple rounds of 8 shots each. I didn't keep score, but I would bet they went 2 for 8 in bounds over 300 yds. I think 369 won it. Now which one of you is really the guy with the long hair? smile

Pretty sure I hit a golf ball 20-25 yards with my bow before.

I just want a video of the fight in the tee box. Somebody will be mad at the end of the day regardless.

The guy who hit 369 kept only one ball inbounds and his 369 was his third or fourth shot. He was spraying balls OB after looking at the crowd, getting them to cheer and then going through his little routine.

The long-haired guy who won striped his first shot on a rope about 380 and that was it.

When I was at Auburn, me and my neighbor made a tater gun. We found a piece of blue flotation foam floating in Lake Martin one day. We sharpened the end of the barrel on the tater gun and could jab it down into the foam, break the foam off and push the foam down the barrel for a wad like in a shotgun shell. We shot many a golf ball clean out of sight. You could also shoot the lower half of a deer front leg around 200 feet. Ah, the good old days. That was back when a woman would still cook and steal wood

Someone told me tater guns are illegal now. Is that true? Where would such a law/reg be?
