had a fella do the same with jumper cables at his bow in Hale Co when I was down there. Stainless balls.

I seen all kinds of crazy crap in my 33 years at APCO. We found a couple extra well done in what we called a doghouse. Bank of transformers in a big metal enclosure. They were try to steal copper and apparently thought it was dead because the business was closed. It wasn't. Crispy Critters. Walked around the corner of a house one day and a fellow panicked and tried to snatch his homade jumpers out of his meter socket with his bare hands. Knocked on the ground where he squirmed around screaming. No last damage, at least not physically. LOL

I got invited to hunt with some guys about 30 or so years ago in Jackson county. Me and a buddy were the first there and waited. Once the one that invited us got there they did the jumper cable thing and it didn’t work. So next the they put a climber on the pole and one of them go up it in pitch dark and does something and we had power the whole time I was there.
