Father God,
We come to you with tears, anger, disbelief, and hurt in learning of our Brother Scott's loss of his son and the manner in which he was taken away.
Lord, our words escape us and seem useless at a time like this in comforting Scott and his family.
We seek You as the Comforter, and Great Counselor in attending to this family and their hurt.
May Your Holy presence be felt and seen during this tragedy.
May You touch each one and tend to their needs, in only the manner You alone are capable of doing.
We ask for justice and for the person or people of this murder to be found and for questions to be answered.
Father, let Your will be done, but let it be known without a doubt, of what Your will is, in this time of hurt and loss.
For it is in the mighty name of Jesus, our Comforter and Redeemer, we ask these things, Amen.
