I don't understand why anybody would NEED to pay a lawyer a monthly retainer. You expecting that much trouble?
The only thing I have heard of in years like this are people who were fooled into a prepaid legal service plans. They were usually not worth the money you paid and the lawyers who they utilized couldn’t make a living without it. But, I’m sure their are still some people in the world who pay a retainer. Although, I’m not sure the bar allows it anymore.
