Yes I pay an attorney a retainer every month. He is a good guy. Sue for what? What damages? Lol. Does it matter? You sue to be suing. Makes them change or at a minimum “Dance” as I call it. I don’t need the money. What I need is my 8 year old not to be subjected to that crap. Not sure you understand there are actually laws that say you can be forced to pay their attorney’s fees when you file a frivolous lawsuit. You have no case. You sue to be suing? Wow, that is the frivolous crap that lead to al the tort reform. Sounds like a democratic whiny snowflake, I didn’t like it so I’m going to pitch a fit attitude. I fully understand. I will no longer address you on this forum because you are an attorney but I can have my attorney address you (the one I pay every month from 49 years ago). So god luck to you YOU GAY PROMOTING HOMO. I paid attention. It’s not the Pet movie that had this, but the Gay Pride spot was in the commercials/previews, right?? Has to be a chain, AMC, whatever. I am sure they play this for everyone that sits in a seat. Suing is a waste. But I would complain to the manager, to the company, to the CEO about exposure of any sexual context at all to 8 year old kids. Get your friends to complain, your church. Don’t just let it go. trying to sue the theater for showing gays kiss would get about as far as if you tried to do it because they showed a mixed race couple or a woman working outside the home. Its a protected class good luck. I dont agree with it but nothing you can do except boycott the theater and hope enough people follow your lead but no one gets excited to stand up for values anymore.

Doekiller, after sitting in court a few times over the years & listening to other folks various cases- I believe you are correct when you say that the courts are not a fellers friends. A person had better have their act together & all their ducks in a row before a case can be won. I ain't a lawyer but I've seen some stupid crap come in front of a judge. The court was polite but in the end the stupidity shined like new coins.

The only thing I have heard of in years like this are people who were fooled into a prepaid legal service plans. They were usually not worth the money you paid and the lawyers who they utilized couldn’t make a living without it. But, I’m sure their are still some people in the world who pay a retainer. Although, I’m not sure the bar allows it anymore.

Suing is not the answer, but getting the word out on this is. If enough people that don't want their kids to see this stay away, you are hurting them more than any unwinnable lawsuit will ever do.

Darryl you could have saved a lot of money the past few years if you would have been a member here. Everybody on here knows state code law and such and never darkened the door of no school of law learnin. We give out free advice. But remember you get what you pay for.
